H5 PBC controller is a new generation driver for small CNC machines as well as hobby. In its development to reap the lessons learned from previous products. For each output can be connected to a motor (A, B, C, D). Involvement of multiple motors on one output is not recommended! To 5 inputs can be connected either switches or inductive sensors and the like. Inputs are protected by diodes and 1 kOhm - ew resistor. Relay outputs can be controlled switching machine engine. For larger output auxiliary relay is recommended. Connection auxiliary signal is 2-bit TTL connection, which allows as spindle speed control via frequency change. But as the fifth axis. For communication between the PC board and used the current LPT cable. It is advisable to use higher quality and not too long.
The driver needs a single voltage source and the power source, from which then regulates other required voltage levels. The driver needs cooling is ideal to use 24V AC - AC fan and connect it directly to the transformer.

Power supply:
Permissible voltage source is DC 12 - 35V. Exceeding 35V can damage the driver. Recommended transformer should be: at least 20Ampérový 230/24V AC bridge and at least 10000uF-AC capacitor and the source and control we recommend 10 A fuse.

One AC-160VA, 230/24V - transformer is able to haul up to 4 motors. load of 3.5 A. DC 35V must not be exceeded in the unloaded condition.
Suitable stepper motors:

The controller has two phase, bipolar output stage. It is therefore possible to use 2-phase motors. To maximize speed and precision, it is appropriate microstep
motors used with the lowest rated voltage and the voltage source to keep at 30 - 35V.

Between the two methods is a fundamental difference!
A - mode: at lower speeds have higher torque at higher speeds and vice versa.
B - mode: parameters identical to that of the specified motor from the manufacturer. This connection is recommended.
